My name is Emmanuela O, and I am an experienced female carer with a passion for helping people lead independent and fulfilling lives. I have been working in the care industry for several years now, providing support and companionship to individuals with diverse care needs.
Throughout my career, I have gained experience in caring for individuals with various conditions, including Mild Cognitive Impairment, bedbound patients, Parkinson's Disease, anxiety, and depression. I am well-versed in providing assistance with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and catheter care. My goal is to ensure that each person I care for feels comfortable, safe, and dignified at all times.
In addition to my care skills, I also bring a warm and friendly personality to my role. I believe that companionship plays an essential part in caregiving, and I always strive to create a positive and inclusive environment for those in my care. Outside of work, I enjoy hobbies such as walking, dancing, playing card games, cooking and baking, and solving puzzles. These activities not only bring me joy but also provide additional opportunities for engagement and stimulation with the individuals I care for.
While I may not have a driver's license or a car, I am more than willing to explore alternative means of transportation to accompany my clients on outings or medical appointments. Additionally, I am comfortable caring for pets, including cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, and birds, as I understand the positive impact they can have on someone's well-being.
Caring for others is not just a job for me; it's a deeply fulfilling vocation. I am motivated by the satisfaction of knowing that I have made a positive difference in someone's life.
